SNOWDROP GARDENS TO VISIT THIS SPRING

Hurrah! It's snowdrop season...
Snowdrops (Galanthus) are classic winter flowering plants that herald the approach of spring - and at this time of year, they are everywhere...

Now is also the time to order your snowdrops 'in the green'. This is a little more expensive than planting dry bulbs in the autumn season but they will establish and naturalise much more quickly with less chance of them drying out or rotting - so Alice recommends the buying your snowdrops 'in the green' is ultimately the most economical way to buy!

You can see Alice's tips on combining snowdrops with other gardens plants on the Times Website.

Why not visit a snowdrop garden near you this season?
