Those of the 'Wild and Free' school of gardening will appreciate the efforts of Garden Boutique. The quirky garden website has sourced a fantastically convenient seed mix which creates and authentic wildflower meadow in just a few months. Developed by Sheffield University, the ingenious product is a mix of native and non-native flowers, including fairy toadflax, californian poppy, love-in-a-mist and dwarf cornflower. Cultivating wildflowers like this would normally take years. Now you can achieve the spectacular blanket of colour within just two months of sowing. Tow packs are available: Standard, and Short- which is better suited to restricted situations. The 50g pack will cultivate an area of 10-12 square metres, and flower from midsummer to late autumn.
